Learning Outside of School
Many students know what they would love to learn, but are frustrated because it isn’t
offered in school. Stop thinking about school as the only place to gain skills. Instead,
look at the world around you. Get involved. There are web-based courses, lessons
and classes of all kinds, groups forming for skill enhancement, mentorships that
can be arranged, summer camps and internships, and the old stand-by, the library.
One of the fastest growing options is learning via internet, in a structured program,
